If my Auntie etc that declaration first test, Bairstow Butter gloves and the non availability of Wood and Woakes are the glaring differences between drawn series and retaining the Ashes.

Great entertainment, but I don't think the cricket was as good as the entertainment, there's been some poor batting at times from both sides.
