Is it just me or is Sky’s commentary and production very pro Indian and is this because of how powerful Indian tv audiences are?

I don’t think it’s partisan at all. It just describes what’s going on and goes with whatever energy is happening in the match at that particular time.

I think as a society, we are losing the ability to hear both sides and are demanding more and more partisan commentary.

Any perceived slight on your team (all teams) makes people demand others cancel their subscriptions.

I’d much rather have analytical commentators than hype ones.

Well unless there is a miracle it be 1-1 and thats England for you and how they want to play! You have to take braindead tests like this as the consequences of bazzball what’s it’s called when we win when we lose it Bizzball

i'm dancing here everyone, dancing for the rain! maybe we could have a nationwide dance off.

Only a bit under 300 more to avoid the follow on. Centuries for Woakes, Carse and Tongue. Easy peasy.

Imagine the glory of an innings in which Brook gets another triple and Jamie Smith gets a ton and the rest of the lads knock 150 in support. that would put us on parity. ridiculous.

I see both sides, I think our uk commentators are more than fair, I think DK and Shastri are very one eyed towards their own team, and considering they are commentating in another team’s country I think they are out of order. Anyway I am not allowed stress so you are one of the more disagreeable posters in here, often for the sake of it, so fuck you, another one on the ignore list, although to be fair there’s not many who aren’t on it

Shastri is terrible. Although he seems to be a bit more balanced this morning - probably due to the position India are in.

Gower, Bumble, Holding and Botham are all losses to the Sky commentary.

Loosing badly here might actually be good for the team in the long run. Stokes’ decision to bat second in this game, with bowlers that are already tired, and the sun forecast for three days, was totally baffling/stupid. One of the worst toss decisions in test history I recon. The first test was ultimately the right one because we won - but we only won with a record run chase. He got lucky because of some brilliance from Root and a couple of other batters. This attitude of we’ll chase what we want, is brave, but also unrealistic. He’s destroyed our already depleted bowling attack by doing so. Hopefully this makes him thing again. And you certainly can’t have that tactic in Australia on their pitches

The bowlers can’t have been that tired. They’d had a week off before day 1.
