I'd like to see us get a lead well in excess of 250. However, with rain forecast tomorrow we could perhaps lose 40 or 50 overs so unless Australia skittle us in the meantime, if we can keep scoring at 4 or 5 runs per over I wouldn't be surprised to see another declaration from Stokes before tea
We'll want to dangle the carrot of enough runs to make it a challenging chase but not too many that they don't try and do it. We got that balance wrong in NZ, and with the stakes being so high I would imagine we're slightly more cautious on the declaration. But the weather that's around tomorrow could reduce the overs and also make bowling a lot easier. Yesterday's 20 minute spell was horrific for the batsmen.
