My god, 14 for 6 now.
NZ did well to not lose much NRR v Aus. They can lose v Pak and will know exactly what result they need v SL to qualify. Pakistan need snookers even beating NZ.NZ v Pakistan Saturday is now effectively a quarter final .
Unless Afghanistan turn over both SA and the Convicts.
If Pak score 300 first then they need to keep NZ to 216 or below to have any NRR advantage.

Don't know exactly why, but I'm kind of rooting for SA. It wouldn't at all discountenance me to see them win two world cups within weeks of each other! Given England's abject performance in this one, and a better-than-expected-but-not-quite-there performance in the rugby one, I'd be quite happy for SA to do it. Much rather them than India or Australia, anyway.
Would prefer NZ to win it. Play the game in a great spirit and were so unlucky last time around. I don't mind the SA cricket team, but I can't stand their rugby team and I won't lie, I get tired of hearing how inspiring it will be to the country - which seems to get worse with every success not better!
