Was hoping for a David Hughes (against Gloucester) knock by Atkinson towards the end there, but mostly it was the dropped catches that cost England the game.

The prime reason we lost this was the folly/arrogance of picking Bethell who has played virtually no first class cricket and when he did play he averaged 11 !!! Surely someone needs to ask Keys/McC/Stokes the question!!

Superb match. Superb series. A fair outcome overall.
On a side note Siraj is fucking box office. He lives every ball. Wonderful bowler.

Thought both umpires a little suspicious today. Taking so long on decisions. Overton should have got the benefit of the doubt.

2-2 is no doubt a fair result, but suggesting it would have been a travesty is a bit extreme. Poor comment form Nasser.

3-1 would have been a misleading scoreline given how dominant India were in the first couple of games. Interestingly, they performed better when Bumrah wasn’t playing and Siraj was the leader of the attack.

We will need to improve a lot if we’re to stand any chance in the Ashes. I suspect it will be another 4 or 5-0 drubbing.

Royally pissed off losing this test to the most obnoxious gobby sporting team on the planet. Even the ugly sisters at both end of the East Lancs have less players who you’d want to punch.
