Cricket ceased to be different a long time ago with all the ball tampering, match fixing and other associated scandals we've had over the years.
Professional sport is what it is and no nation is whiter than white in this regard.
As long as people are playing the game within the laws and rules should be good enough for anyone.
Anything else seems to be sour grapes.

I seem to remember a VERY soft penalty going our way for a supposed foul on Lampard (IIRC).

I remember Spurs getting a penalty against us at the Etihad, Clattentwat was the ref I think, about 6 years ago when the ball clearly hit Raheem Sterling in the back.

After the Duckett catch was overturned everything was fair game.

The point here is that the overturning of the catch was all the umpires doing and nothing to do with Ducket or any England player

Exactly.
It's not the village green anymore. There's big money, sponsorships etc. The desire to win is huge. It's hypocritical to call it cheating or bad sportsmanship when we try it ourselves. To me you make the best of the tools you have in order to win within the rules.
I'd love England to do it to Warner or Smith though as I detest those two. :)

Australia have a burning desire to return home with the ashes as heroes, it will make me squirm a bit if they do and I will get ribbed about it, but for me the ashes series is the best cricket spectacle there is and I look forward to it whoever wins.
