Head and Marsh...

This feels like a crucial part of the match. They're both quick scorers so I'd love to see these two out before too long...

I think England can chase 240.

They’ll need to get these two pretty quick and Wood will have to mop up the tail like he did yesterday.

He got rid of the 2 best ranked test batsmen in the world! Bit more than holding down an end.

They got rid of themselves - both inexcusable and poor shots with very little due to Ali, but yeah he still has to bowl the ball. More impressed that he kept it tight and his finger didn't deteriorate.

My last post on this year's Ashes

We will never learn, and until we stop playing the old boy clubs gang, Moeen Ali Bairstow Broad Anderson and Start to take Test cricket and the Ashes seriously then am OUT

Pundits in the media and tv blowing smoke up the people's arse about England and Bazball makes me laugh
I may be old school in my views but Test cricket and the Ashes are better and bigger than Bazball and England,

We are going to get whitewashed and then let's see Sky and the BBC Pundits back Bazball and Stokes and the England coaching staff

Great day for England! I had the faith we would turn it around!

Tomorrow morning though we need a morning like the Aussies had against us or the game can go away quickly! Marsh is the one we need out in the first 2/3 overs..

100% bazball has got us a long way from where we were , but we need to learn when to stick and when to twist

Think only this Aussie team where Bazball doesn’t work as well just because of there bowlers!

Saying that playing the old way we wouldn’t of even had a chance of winning the last two tests matches..

He should have been picked as a batsman. Granted he’s not done much with that this series but his previous form last summer probably meant he was worth a place. Playing him as a wicket keeper ahead of a world class one is one of many things that’s cost us the series. Should have been Foakes ahead of Ali for this. Hoping he proves me wrong by getting some much needed runs now but not holding my breath.

I've never really been a Bairstow fan in test cricket but have to agree. His purple patch before his injury came as a surprise to me and I didn't think he had it in him. If he hadn't been picked for this Ashes series and we were still 2-0 down everybody would be questioning why he wasn't in the team. So you really can't win.

There's always been a question mark on his wicketkeeping going back a number of years. When he kept failing with the bat previously he was adamant that he wanted to keep hold of the gloves. Knowing full well his batting alone wasn't worthy of keeping a place in the test team.
