He's so close to 700 wickets it's natural he'll want to play until he reaches that milestone. Broad got his 600th and timing wise it made sense. Jimmy will have to wait until next summer to make 700. He's not going to be taken on any tours. But it's whether he thinks he can go and do it. We've not had much movement in this series. This morning has seen the most of the whole Ashes. And yet he's still not making it happen. They respect him, they're leaving anything they could edge and then going after anything straighter because of the lack of pace. His figures for Lancs are still impressive and when you look at some of the other top class bowlers in Div 1 he's still right up there.
