Maybe so but it doesn’t look good mocking one of our test cricketers. In fairness to Aggers, he knows he’s made a **** of himself and the world moves on.

I doubt he would have done likewise against an Indian Test bowler
How did he mock him? I may have misunderstood him but I thought he said (and bet) he thought Archer would never play red ball cricket for England again? TBH I thought Archer would never play red ball cricket for England again. Not sure why he felt the need to bet with Stokes about it but I’ve always found Aggers to be a very decent man. A lot easier to warm to than ragatherton

I'm in this camp to be fair, he's paid to voice his opinion and at the time his opinion wouldn't have been wildly different to most cricket fans. Took ownership of it as well when he was proved wrong unlike 99.9% of sports pundits.

There's only one person not in that camp! It wasn't a bet made in a smug manner, it was a figure of speech based on numerous injuries he had suffered at the time. It also came from someone who knows exactly what it's like. Aggers would have been thrilled to see him back, and credit to him owning the moment as well.

Anyway, he is back and we move forwards!

Yep, for me he’s one of the good guys. Unlike Atherton Hussein and ward who just seem to be there to suck up to the Indians. Also loved the shots of Tuffers not afraid to give it plenty when England took wickets

Great atmosphere at Lords tonight!!!!!!!
Thought someone cheered when Middlesex took a wicket, but they were just celebrating the waiter bringing a fresh bottle of 'bubbly'!!!!!!!!!!

Blimey the South Group sounds awfully posh. At Wantage Road (Northants) the one and only choice at 90% of the bars is lager and certainly no waiters in sight.

Corky 's going about 'which Lancs fielder will be put in front of the Western Terrace' tomorrow and Middlesex and Surrey (just 5 miles apart) are playing in a library.

Middlesex have really struggled. They played some T20 "home" games in Chelmsford at Essex' ground last season. Think it was costing too much to roll in temp stands in their usual alternative venue to Lords.

Just awful. Buttler hogging the strike for 4 deliveries, scoring 1, getting 2 people run out then getting himself out anyway. Very poor.
Think it was the obvious thing to do. Ok it didn’t work out but Buttler batting with 9’s and 10’s who would you want on strike? Could be a match winning innings from him anyway
