The one statistic that I remember about Gary Sobers was the 6x6 ( ie 36 runs in a 6 ball over ) when he was playing for Nottinghamshire @. 1969.

Seem to remember it was against Glamorgan and Malcolm Nash? Wasn’t there a big debate about whether the 4th or 5th had gone for 6 or been caught?

We would of been better if with the young leg spinner than Dawson who has been useless

Dawson is poor for a wicket taker I’d take him off now bowl root instead and archer not stop moaning or bowling shite balls! This Bowling attack has been the worse in a long time!

Last season of cricket at St Helens where Sobers had that knock. Flipping sacrilege I think. Ospreys rugby going there and they are building a stand on the cricket pitch. Only 2 men and dog and watch the Ospreys these days. Its a fucking disgrace I think. Anyway rant over, as you were

True mainly down to stokes bowling captaincy and roots batting! Archer been ok but woakes and Carse average!

Think though the pitches have been the most batter friendly we have seen for test matches this year! This one here 5th day it’s either out bowling been poor India batting well or the pitches is to easy and slow

Swansea was a lovely place to see cricket, saw Lancs there a couple of times.
Posted before that Frank Hayes once put Malcolm Nash for 32 in an over at Swansea, when Nash came up the steps afterwards he was muttering "Never bloody again!"

Am glad old Trafford haven’t got any ashes next year with that pitch flat not much in it and slow with no bounce! Pitches at Lancashire used to be hard and had bounce that pitch is a disgrace!

I'm calling it now. England will not spend a lot of time feeling sorry for themselves (this one's a draw, as sure as eggs is eggs; fire would have to come down from heaven to change anything about this wicket, or these bowlers). Stokes is the kind of a captain who will not allow it. A true leader of men. I'm confident that England will win, or at least draw, the final match at the Oval, and win the series.
