Cricket Thread

Well, that's it, isn't it? Series levelled before the end of day 4, in my honest, sober opinion. Really, have England deserved much more? It's been a long time since I've been so irritated by England cricket. After that absolute shit show with the bat yesterday afternoon, compounded by absolute shit show out in the field. It's not even that the Indians have been particularly good. I recognise that they fully outplayed us in that second test.No problem there. And a good rearguard action at OT.Again, no problem. That's the nature of the game.

This has been England shooting themselves not merely in one, but in both feet.

Just a faint, faint chance, if Joe plays the mother of all innings tomorrow — and I'm talking double century and maybe then some, and enough people hanging around and making dribs and drabs of 20s or so to keep him company.
Nah, not really going to happen, is it?

Ragerton calling Joe Root aggressive. It was the Indian **** who screamed in his face that was aggressive, who wouldn’t have responded to that? Ragerton and Indian Nasser both former Indian captains, and yet neither will criticise an Indian. Cunts

2 batters to get a hundred and we have a chance, these two or Brook?

Edit - well it won’t be Pope, and waste of a review “skipper”. 106 for 3 hardly a surprise with our top 3.Cmon Yorkies

Smith has a test average of 53 (14 tests). Including 184 not out in the second test against India. The highest score by an England wk in test matches, and the highest score by a batsman coming in at number 7 in England's test history.

Half of that would be very welcome!
