Enjoy listening to commentators and cricket journalists discussing performances, but English cricketers all sound as if they’ve attended the same media training programmes. Tend to switch off at that point and am surprised media outlets still bother with them.
I think Trescothick needs to go as well. When he was a player he wouldn’t tour overseas due to homesickness, not sure that’s the right credentials to be a batting coach for the national teamThey've gambled everything on this series and we are gonna get battered. Key will go, hopefully. I also think Stokes will too, sadly.
There's a shortage of quality batsmen in the county game and any that show promise should be taken with a pinch of salt cos they rarely, if ever, come up against the test bowlers cos they are always rested!!!
Bet they go for it
And it's that openness that keeps the players honest, it's too comfortable in English cricket"wouldn't change, when people got in, they looked comfortable, disappointed in some of the wickets but Australia bowled well. It's worked for us over the past few years and the team are united in this approach."
The Aussie ex-players and journos don't hold back at their players, even if they're only recently retired.
I’m feeling the same disappointment as I do when city lose, spoils my weekendI can normally get over England losing quite easily but this one is particularly depressing.

ha, maybe, that last shot by Labuschagne showed intent.
There's a run a ball with no trouble at all.
Who is Neil Killeen? Apparently he’s our fast bowling coach, never heard of him before just googling the England fast bowling coachthere seems to be little brain in how bowling short works on this pitch, that's at least 4 that have gone past the stumps about 9 feet in the air.
On the plus side they get an additional 3 days off before the second Test, on the downside heaven fucking help us when they get Cummins and Hazelwood back
