You can't blame him for thinking the fast bowlers who bowled well first innings in Perth would bowl well again.

He wouldn't have predicted they'd bowl 30 overs of shitty bouncers with no third man going for 6 an over.

Most test match captains use tactics other than "bowl so badly they get overconfident"
