They should let Archer practice his bouncers in the nets on Pope, Ducket and Crawley in their mid test beach wear, I'm sure that would make them concentrate on shot choice!

Archer, Stokes and Root are the 'senior' players in this squad (Archer and Stokes are doing all they can to not let injuries and pain beat them)! This squad is full of young shit bags! We don't have a single player who would be willing to square upto anyone of the Aussies. Compare that to 2005, Hoggard, Flintoff, Jones, Harmison, Pieterson and Collingwood made a point of not being scared!

Its not rocket science is it mate, You have sensible experienced openers (like Cook, Strauss, Trescothick, Atherton). But the most important thing is to have an unflappable batsman at nr3 (like Root, Vaughan or Trott). The top order is there to grind bowlers down and tire them out! Then your Botham's. Flintoff's, Stokes & Peiterson's come in and score big.

England don't have any experienced top order batsmen who know how to play test cricket on tour!
 
Call me cynical but it's taken Carse halfway through the Ashes to realise that he needs to attack the stumps. If only England had a proper preparation, they might be able to work that shit out before the first test started.

All while giving off smug messaging in the press about this being the way they do things and they don’t give a shit what people think.

McCullum, Stokes, Crawley, Pope, Smith, Jacks, Carse all have to go.

Sad state of English cricket. May be worth reducing the away ashes series to 4 tests to at least let Melbourne have a chance of hosting a game with the series still on the line.

Correct! England is more about Bazball, winning and Ben Stokes being our only hope of glory these days!

Cricket is about respect and discipline, (just like boxing) Andrew Flintoff is doing more for cricket on that BBC program by teaching it in the roughest schools, to kids who need a role model! Flintoff created Bazball, terrified the Aussies and won the Ashes all in one series!
