I remember years ago a moderator on here from Australia, I can't recall his name now, but we ripped the piss out of him when they lost the Ashes.

'Oh well' was his post when they lost the series.

We didn't let that one go, but he was a decent guy and took it all with good grace.

Happy days never since repeated, and won't be this series either.

He's a fucking bellend. It reminds me of a story Richie Benaud told once. A night watchmen was sent in to bat for one of the Aussie Sheffield shield teams, with a couple of overs left in the day.

Under strict instructions from the captain to protect the established batsman at the other end the night watchmen was caught on the boundary second ball for six, much to his captain's consternation.
