crisp butty....

It's been years, but I had the urge today. Salt n vinegar crisp and cheese spread butty along with a large glass of prosecco. Proper comfort food.

Prosecco? No, no, no.......beer!

Out of interest, which cheese spread?

These are great butties: Cheese with jam. Peanut butter with jam. Any crisps. Tinned red salmon but make sure you remove any of them pesky white crumbly bones with mayo and beetroot. Bacon grill out of a tin with brown sauce. Just brown sauce with butter on an open crust.

How do you remove the white crumbly bones with mayo and beetroot...
I struggle removing them with a fucking fork lol

Buttered thick sliced white bread, heinz sandwich spread, marmite and crisp (flavour of your choice) must be squashed so the crisps push into the bread.

Heaven! However, must be:

1. Plain crisps (that's Ready Salted for the kids out there),
2. On white bread,
3. Bread must be buttered (absolutely no marge).

Oh, and lastly, they always taste better with a beer - as our American cousins would say 'go figure'.

This. Every day of the week and twice on a Sunday!

Another favourite is corned beef, brown sauce and chip butties. Truly immense. And also one of the reasons I'm 5'8 and 25 stone... ;-)
