I 100% would not renew if he came - just can't abide the ****. Mind you, if we did sign him I'm sure there would be a queue a mile long to take my place.

Never. 80m was the price for an on fire young world superstar coming into his prime with enough time to get bored of him and be young enough to sell on. With FFPR and his age now (I know he's not old but whoever gets him next isn't going to be able to sell him for big bucks after 3 years), it certainly wouldn't be more than the original price. TBH I'm not sure we could even justify the outlay anymore? Unless it's part of the Ferran/Txiki Ronaldinho-esque masterplan.
 
Players like this are the difference between good and great, they can single-handedly take a club up a level. That said, maybe it would be better to target Neymar who will be younger, cheaper, and possibly even more marketable than Ronaldo... as in, he would make the money back for the club and then some more. To the "he only wants Spain" crew, words out of his own mouth this week said he doesn't have a preference for what league he plays in.

Please god no. It really would be selling our sole. You could see last night the rest of the Madrid side thought he was a twat - which of course he is.
 
Don't like the man because of his attitude, but lets be honest he is a very good player who is very marketable and who would walk into any team on the planet.

Yes he was a RAG but so was Tevez also look at Tevez and his attitude and how the majority of fans have now about turned and support him.

Can't see this happening but imagine the impact signing him would cause.

Talk about Global force, one signing and Rag, Chelsea, Madrid shirts would be binned in favour of our own blue across the planet.

Great pace and skill, skipped past Zabba (?) in the opening part of the first half and I thought "oh no" but from then on was absent for large parts of the game. Falls over and waves arms around easily.. Wouldn't want to spend that amount of money on one player, but it's not my money.

I'd rather have Messi because Ronaldo is a ****, his attitude/approach to a game is shit and he goes to ground far too easily, but I still think Ronaldo is the better play.

If we needed a win and were a couple of goals down I'd much rather have Ronaldo heading the attack than Messi.

He is all that is wrong with modern football. A player with immense skill that could play in any team BUT he spoils it all with his cheating snidey attitude. I would not want him at City because whilst he would score the winner in virtually every game he would also fall down and con referees in that game as well. He is X Factor, Celebrity Jungle Thingy and Prancing on Ice rolled into one. He could be so great but actually you come away thinking he's a c**t.

Nobody in their right mind thinks Ronaldo is better than Messi.
