Why are so many on here in such awe of Chelsea? For the last two seasons we've finished above them, including a more recent title win, and more significantly, Sheikh Mansour is a great deal wealthier than Abramovich. We can offer more cash, and higher wages. Bigger crowds, better atmosphere. The only advantage they have over us if players want to live in London.

Wages will be a killer for United. He loves that club but he doesn't love them enough to take a pay cut.

Because Ronaldo will demand £250k plus and they won't pay it.

I honestly think he would go back to united for less than he is on a week at Madrid, same for the image rights deal. I don't think he would push for it like at Madrid. As for the transfer, united could buy him if they really wanted to. £80m isn't that much for the biggest footballing brand in the world.
