Guardiola's football has proven to be exceedingly successful at three major clubs over the years. many also tend to consider it to be some of the most fun football ever. on the former point, i can't disagree; on the latter, i beg to differ. haven't enjoyed it at Barcelona, haven't paid any attention to it at Munich, still not too impressed with it at City. we didn't win a lot under Bobby Manc, but something like Micah bombing down the wing and crossing it in for any of our forwards to deliver the killing blow was a sight and experience to die for. these days, i just don't quite feel the draw.
WTF are you gabbling on about?

I think that us turning him down is fucking idiotic right now...
Many here would disagree.
Exactly how much do you know about the ins and outs of the deal then?
We have no idea what Ronaldo and Mendez were after and I for one totally trust Txiki Pep and the others to do the right thing for our club.
If it’s not the right fit they will be in a better position to make that judgment than you or me.

We seem to be having problems bidding for anything, that's the issue.

Grealish was a saga even with a clause.

If we wanted Kane, either pay or walk away, and move on.

We waste so much time waiting for the price to drop and it never does.
I think that us turning him down is fucking idiotic right now...
Who loses out ?
Spurs are the ones with a mountain of debt. So be it. Let them eat it ! Have it ! What's not being said is the astronomically high heaps of debt in football clubs worldwide because of lockdowns , covid etc and effects . Do you think Qat ar PSG is in any less debt ? What about Chelsea? They've spent more than us in this window. United will be shafted by Ronaldo. Money talks but so does unwise debt. It comes down to that.Let them all have the pressure of having to succeed this very season. Its not on us now.
They'll rue the day -all for the sake of PL and CL trophies. A fool and his money are soon easily parted

Meanwhile we have Pep sitting at home

Strategising. Thinking ." How can I best break these teams down without a proven striker " He's done it before and he can do it again . He gets in his closet and doesn't come out until he has figured out a way to beat the opposition. Have some faith .

I am not saying Tixki out.

But the manager clearly wanted Kane, so why did we not back his wish?

Levy set a price, is the issue Tixki does not think Kane is value or thinks Pep is wrong?

We always have alternative's when looking for a player, yet in this case, we did not, why?

Personally I think city are better at signing players that might become the next Kane. We have a pretty poor record at signing ready made so called superstars.

The club clearly decided signing a 28 year old with a dodgy injury history for £150m+ was a shit idea, set their price, offered more than what they thought he was worth and Levy still didn't get what he wanted.

That's not a loss, in my book.
Totally agree, and I am more than happy we did not.

But it seems to make the manager look a twat, that is a problem, regardless of Kane or Ronaldo, we need a striker.
