Well he scores more goals than just about anybody else on the planet even if he is a "Hybrid" as you are suggesting.Is Ronaldo played as a CF or winger in Juventus? We really need an out and out center forward and not another hybrid.
Which is a pity really we probably need more firepower but hey we move on regardless.As much as I think this would be a great fallback after the Kane fiasco unfortunately this won’t be happening either. You are Ronaldo and I claim my £5.Exactly. And from Ronaldo's standpoint his singular focus is not just wanting to win trophies but also more trophies than Messi. He knows Juve aren't capable of winning the CL and with Messi going to PSG what better club to join than the ones who knocked PSG out last season. We could be the only club who can stop PSG this season.
Convincing pep and the board is the hard part. Ronaldo wants this as insane as that sounds.We can sell Ronaldo the CFG progression plan too. Come to city for a year, maybe 2, win stuff at the very top and play under the greatest manager, then you can have your swansong over in New York for as many seasons as you can play for. There's nothing that doesn't make sense other than him being an ex rag.
Down to 2/3 things stopping this. How willing Juve are to release him for free or a nominal fee at best, is Pep willing to have the Ronaldo circus brand and everything that comes with it in his side when he typically doesn't like egos and whether we can make the space in the squad for him.
To stay in your scenario. What if you had a toxic relationship with your dad, he beat and abused you as a kid growing up and humiliated you at every opportunity, you were too small and weak to do anything back. Times passed, you've grown up and are now much stronger than your aging fading father who still tries to belittle you. Knowing that your dad still pines for that ex wife every day since she left would you not want to fuck her as some kind of karmic revenge?
(Also incorporate the fact he's one of the best striker around, available, wants to come, better than anything we have and is very much what we need into the scenario somehow)

We retired the shirt number of a player who’s loan with us had ended.For the 15th fuckin time HE WAS ON LOAN
He's a bit of a **** and with a huge ego but no denying he still is very good and physically better than most 30 year olds. If we could get him on a short 2 year deal with not so horrible wages and only a small transfer fee, it might be good as a short term option considering it feels like there are no good striker options currently outside paying £150m+ or taking a risk on some very young talent.

CR or Lewandowski, I approve the deal for any of them if it is sent to me by Txiki.
We need a top scorer as i dont trust Gundo again providing 10+ goals in PL, or Sterling instantly finding his form from years ago, Jesus better off from wings, Mahrez can become FFS anytime, Grealish never were too strong in scoring, he will imo end up between 6-7 goals in PL.
we have bunch of creators but almost no one with a heavy killer instinct front of goals and pens. CR or Lewa would provide that for us in the short term, while we can go and find Aguero long term replacement. would be a big risk to trust in Torres and false 9 system again, a risk might not worth taking given our rivals will want our blood this season and all became stronger.
a 1+1 year deal for CR or 2 year deal for Lewa, both would work perfectlz and I guarantee both would score 25 goals in PL unless some hard injuries.
