Part of me feels that we’d have only walked away from Kane at any price had we lined up an alternative. Ronaldo for 2 years makes a lot of sense because it essentially fixes the problem (and then some) and keeps us actively in the market for the next 2 summers.

He scored 29 goals in 33 games in Seria A last year. More than Lukakus 24 in 36 for the league champions. The man is still a machine.
