Midfield wasn't a position we were struggling in - at least from an attacking sense. Likewise on the wings, where Grealish can also play. We needed someone to convert chances, that's where our weakness has been most prevalent.

It's been blindingly obvious that number 9 was the position that needs sorting for 2 seasons now and the board have failed to correct it (despite huge funds at our disposal) and in the process let Aguero leave. We're now left with a number 9 that wants to play as a winger (Jesus), a winger that Pep wants to play as a 9 (Torres) and a very talented academy striker (Delap), that Pep won't play in favour of the former.

I'm sure we will manage this season, but we have let our rivals catch up whilst we have effectively stood still and failed to sign someone for the actual gaping whole in our squad.
 
People saying taxi fucked this up again but I thought we was offered him we talked about it but didn't persu him so it ain't nobody's fault if we wasn't after the fucker ?
 
Can’t lie its a huge L for us this. Can only hope Delap explodes on the scene this season. We won’t achieve our targets without a proper striker.
 
Mixed views from me. Can’t stand the fcukin peacock but it would have been a smart move.

Not blaming anyone at the club as we don’t know the full circumstances. Not blaming them for Kane either in view of the silly money being floated.

C’est la vie, as they say in Germany. I’m left with the disappointment of supporting the reigning English champions for yet another season.

I don't get why he'd use us to force interest from the swamp - they would only be a phone call away, the useless cnut even said that in his presser just now.
 
Get the feeling we only want exclusivity, we run away if players flutter their eyelashes at other clubs. Pros and cons to that approach, but most players will always go for the most lucrative offer. But fuck it, if the rags have only just come to the party to stop us signing someone, then that is funny.
