Crystal Palace (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Feels like a loss.

I dont think anyone played well. I really thought we turned a corner mid week, was a huge opportunity to gain some points and just some fucking confidence ahead of next weekend.

Laugh all you want but i'd rather we didn't turn into Wengers latter Arsenal days.
Of course, i didn't mean i'd walk away if we didn't win the title, i just meant i don't see why sides celebrate coming 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
I have no problem with not winning trophies, it happens, i just wouldn't celebrate finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th

Honestly, Pep’s entire philosophy, and the reason for all of this success has been the fact the players don’t ever feel comfortable in their starting position, somebody was always gonna push you to keep your place in the team. Haaland’s maybe slight loss in form and attitude is probably partly due to 1 fatigue and two not having someone pushing him to keep his place.

For the record @mayo31 Stephen Keogh, scammed me today. Sold me a ticket that had already been scanned. Do not buy off him.
Sorry mate but I know Ste personally and he's definitely not a scammer. Helps blues out all the time.

Sorry you didn't get in but he definitely doesn't scam. Something will have gone wrong and I'm sure Ste will give you your money back.

Agree mate we hear how good are youth team is and how clubs try snapping are players up well let's give them a try
Well we've got rid of numerous players deemed not good enough who are now playing in the PL, La Liga and the Bundesliga. So the ones in our current squad should be good enough to play.

We have to accept we will struggle all season in the league and our best chance will be in the cup
injuries and loss of form have bitten our arse big time, Pep's ideal squad size is always asking for trouble. So with the backbone players at the club being over 30 and playing far too much football on both club level and international levels injuries and burnout were always coming.

All we can do is hang in and get right behind the players and Pep because they have given us a tremendous period of success and deserve our backing and support,

Yes, everybody hates to lose or face struggles and results not going our way, but if you're into football and support Manchester City you should know we don't demand glory

I honestly still think we will piss top 4 and get to at least champions league quarters, which for a transitional season is acceptable.

Bolster in summer and we will be back firing.
