Crystal Palace (A) | Post Match Thread

Having players play in positions they don’t play or expectations on them when they are not strikers is down to tactics. The players tried their best but they are not instinctive strikers. Aguero bags a hatrick tonight

Right but then that’s personnel, we don’t have Aguero as an option. It’s not as if the chances were falling to Foden anyway

Complete fucking nonsense.

Not making a substitute is just taking the piss. Half a chance of Jesus or Sterling scoring off their arse or elbow.

Bang under pressure for no reason. End of.

A decent performance and very unlucky not to win. Ten men behind the ball, every game, is pissing me off, as are the commentators who made endless references to Liverpool, all game, and when they weren't, it was constant chat about how Palace could win.
What do you expect with Hinchcliffe.

Subs wouldn’t have changed anything. Sick to death of every fucking team we play parking the bus against us, teams never set up like this against Liverpool, how many times do we see Liverpool play a long ball forward to create a chance, city hardly have the opportunity to play a 20 yard pass forwards due to deep lying defensive lines with every **** behind the ball. Pisses me right off.
Cleary works though. Why do you expect them to do when they know it frustrates us? Up to us to find a solution

And there is the truth. One team set out to win and the other perceives a victory as keeping the opposition out. We face it nearly every game.

Why don’t Liverpool face the same thing? It’s like teams only set up to stop us but try to play against them, leaving themselves open to conceding.
