Crystal Palace (A) | Post Match Thread

Superb win and a much better performance than City will be credited for.

Palace are always tough at their place and rarely get dicked by anyone so a narrow win was to be expected.

They had perhaps one truly dangerous moment and Eddie never had to make a save. City controlled the game and were patient. They kept a clean sheet again and that is great because that is what has been most lacking so far.

Postulated as much in the match thread and perhaps mute if Haaland scores his sitter, but against low blocks like this I think we need all our creators on, or atleast 3.

Benchinf KdB AND Mahrez meant this was always an uphill battle in making chances as we had to full rely on Foden and Grealish.

And while Grealish was great, Foden wasnt. It happens.

theres a very important match on tuesday, a lot of players thinking about that one probably and pep as well with his squad rotation, it is what it is

Iv never seen anything like that. The ref should be ashamed condoning that sort of stuff.

I expect there will be repercussions for Zaha... Oh no its City, we dont get the press/media campaigns.
I doubt it unless City let them know. It’ll be swept under the carpet unless City make some noise, publicly or behind the scenes.

If you think that was sensational, you've got the bar set very low. It was a brilliant result but, IN MY OPINION, not a sensational match.
How many chances do we have to create then? 9 clear chances is a lot. And I am not even counting when Foden was alone and instead of shooting decided to pass to Haaland. Tell me a number of chances created - chances conceded away from home against a difficult opponent (for us). Tell me. So spoilt this fanbase
