Crystal Palace (A) | Post Match Thread

Anyone know what Laporte's done to be in the dog house with Pep to the extent he's not getting played over Akanji?
Don’t blame him for wanting him to leave been the bast left footed centre back for the last few years now. Everyone knows he wanted to leave when we came out of covid with him having a kid and wanting to be closer to home. Hope he doesn’t leave city with a stain glossed over his great city career.

Excellent result but not deserved. We should have had 3 or 4 there. And all the moaners in the matchday thread wtf. Just cant go in there.

The ref, wasnt bent, was swayed by the crowd maybe but that pen - he could have not give that and still got away with it.

Motm = Bernardo for me.
WTF

Yeah but there are now so many managers more suited to us than Vieira.
He's certainly not shown anything, anywhere, to suggest he is capable of the City job.

Kompany, on the other hand, has shown very promising signs at Burnley.
Fair comment but lets see what VK can do with Burnley in the PL. A different animal.

Look at the Brentford, Fulham and Brighton managers. Why shouldn’t Vieira be able to do the same and put his own more positive trademark on the team?
Yep may be something in that. Lets face it any decent manager should be able to do something with the resources we have. Even Pep couldnt do it in his first season. He needed to bring in players for success and thankfully it worked out.
