We go full strength again, did any thoughts of Toure - he’s done. You play the strongest 11 with potential rests at home to Watford, Burnley or Bristol.
Yeah can't remember the last time he got a couple of goals and an assist and decided a game on his own...
Palace have averaged less than 1 goal a game this season .can't see them improving that against us.
Some on here are ready to throw in the towel ffs
I think their defence will be shitting bricks.
Zaha is their top goal scorer with 4 goals. Benteke has managed just 1 all season so far. They've got a game tonight to improve on that but as it stands only Brighton, West Brom and Swansea have scored fewer goals than Palace.
Can't see them scoring more than 1 against us.
Yep, neither of them are much of a goal threat at the minute. Aguero is the bigger threat though, played less minutes last night and Palace won't be playing out of the back too much so we won't really need Jesus. He had a great game against Bournemouth but that's definitely been the exception to the rule and anyone thinking he's in good form is kidding themselves. That pair and the Swansea goal he was so desperate for remain his only 3 league goals from open play since September - in a team that's scored over 40 in that time. There's no chance he's happy with that.
Getting Aguero (and Jesus for that matter) back among the goals is something we need to do sharpish, because in the later rounds of the cups we cannot afford for him to have a game like yesterday.
Mostly because of the awful start they had.
Last 4 games they've scored 8 goals
They are undefeated at home since they beat Chelsea (5 games) scoring 2 in each game
Last 8 games they're getting 1.75 pts per game, enough to finish a full season on 66pts
