We go full strength again, did any thoughts of Toure - he’s done. You play the strongest 11 with potential rests at home to Watford, Burnley or Bristol.

Whereas we were able to coast through that game last night and conserve energy, the nature of Palace’s derby with Arsenal means they’ll have to field a strong side, and their fans will expect them to have a go. They turned them over, 3-0, last season and Arsenal will not want a repeat of that shambles, so it could be quite a sapping affair.

The number of chances we are missing is criminal. Very nearly cost us last night, Aguero and Jesus not in the greatest of form currently.

Yeah can't remember the last time he got a couple of goals and an assist and decided a game on his own...

He had a great game against Bournemouth but that's definitely been the exception to the rule and anyone thinking he's in good form is kidding themselves. That pair and the Swansea goal he was so desperate for remain his only 3 league goals from open play since September - in a team that's scored over 40 in that time. There's no chance he's happy with that.

Getting Aguero (and Jesus for that matter) back among the goals is something we need to do sharpish, because in the later rounds of the cups we cannot afford for him to have a game like yesterday.

Palace have averaged less than 1 goal a game this season .can't see them improving that against us.
Some on here are ready to throw in the towel ffs
I think their defence will be shitting bricks.

Zaha is their top goal scorer with 4 goals. Benteke has managed just 1 all season so far. They've got a game tonight to improve on that but as it stands only Brighton, West Brom and Swansea have scored fewer goals than Palace.

Can't see them scoring more than 1 against us.

Mostly because of the awful start they had.

Last 4 games they've scored 8 goals

They are undefeated at home since they beat Chelsea (5 games) scoring 2 in each game

Last 8 games they're getting 1.75 pts per game, enough to finish a full season on 66pts

Definitely a match, like Leicester and Spurs in November you think there is the possibility of a slip up.

Still giving Sane a rest and hopefully Silva back in the fold should strengthen us significantly.

Its usually a tightly fought affair (well last season was) so would take a 1-0 and then use the upcoming weeks to rotate a little more and hopefully get Jesus and Aguero firing again.

Yep, neither of them are much of a goal threat at the minute. Aguero is the bigger threat though, played less minutes last night and Palace won't be playing out of the back too much so we won't really need Jesus.

This will be a really hard game. We’ve shown this season we’ve got plenty of steel as well as skill, think we’ll need it here. 1-2 to us.

Draws with Brighton, West Brom, Bournemouth and Swansea in this 8 game run. Seeing as the last 3 are the current bottom 3 in the league, their current unbeaten run isn't really that impressive and I'm sure Roy Hodgson would have wanted/expected a few more points on the board.

I'm not saying that it won't be a tough game, it will, but leave the over hyping of their current run to Sky Sports and Rags.

Pretty much this.
The opposition are putting two players on him every game when he's in the box - so to some extent it does open up space for other players arriving in the box. But only Silva and Sterling are exploiting the space at the moment.
