cant see palace sitting 10 behind the ball like the other teams. they will probably score but we we'll score 3 if they go at us. 3-1 City

I love watching a work in progress and City have the money to ward off the vultures (in fact, take the vulture's players, in a total role reversal for English clubs). Must be killing the red half lol. They went and got an aging anti-football, bus parking whinger who leaves bad vibes wherever he goes to make a mess out rebuilding their clueless team. What on earth were they thinking? Pep knocked the moaner from pillar to post in Spain, bar one season, what made them think that would change in England? Comedy gold, my friends, comedy gold. Nothing more satisfying than seeing Utd fans bleating how hard done by they feel after cheating their way to success under Ferguson.

The part (s) of the post you commented on were direct comparisons I made re Ronaldo & where Sané might eventually score fewer goals but still a decent number & work harder, which you described as 'optimistic' then mentioned what you perceive to be a lack of workrate & attitude problem, which I am also, again, comparng to the several times world poty, as a continuation of the example I gave in the post which you quoted.

If you preffered to talk about something else, other than a comparison with Ronaldo, perhaps quoting my Ronaldo comparison, which was my whole point, was not a good way of explaining it.

I think the way Newcastle played surprised us and within the first half an hour I don’t think we could believe how easy we were having it.

I think we almost brought ourselves down a few levels because of it and found it hard to go up the gears in the second half once Newcastle started to push up more.

Having said that we should have been 3/4-0 up at half time.

The key will be taking our chances, if we do that we should win.

The extra day of rest this time of year should help us (though Watford will have the extra day vs us next round)

Sane yes. His speed will be important. Yaya is way too slow for this kind of game. He will play in the FA Cup. And would fit in well at Newcastle as they played at his pace.

Win the league early and give him a long goodbye where we can afford to let him play as slow as he wants in the last few matches.
