Poor performance & some very poor displays but Kyle Walker put in an absolutely PATHETIC & embarrassing performance. Dancing around not closing Shlupp down then showing him on to his preferred foot for the goal, gave a free kick away that led to the second, then gave the ball away that led to the attack that led to the penalty he unecesserally gave away. Misplaced passes & missed headers throughout, nearly fell over controlling the ball on the half way line, misjudged the bounce of the ball plenty of times he was utterly shocking & shouldn't be starting the next game. He's been poor all season but today was unacceptable.

Hodgson got his tactics right, and we didn't have a plan b.

Pawson didn't help matters, and he did get in the way of the outlet ball more than a couple of times. 90th minute booking for time wasting was a joke.

You play a CB as a DM what you get is an extra CB playing in front of the other two. No real offensive effect and a complete waste against a team who have little interest in ball retention. It was clear from the start that Palace only wanted to suck us forward and break on the counter attack. And we appear to have forgotten how to counter attack. The players only appear to be interested in goals from elaborate passing routines. Every time we have a chance to counter attack we hold the ball up on the half way line instead of driving into the disorganised defence.

I read a lot of comments on her about the starting lineup being wrong. Sorry but I don’t buy it, you can’t say on the one hand that we have th best and deepest squad and then complain when the starting lineup is rotated. The starting eleven today should have been enough to beat a very average Palace team. It just didn’t happen. Stones and Walker were poor but mostly we failed to exploit our possession, loads of corners were wasted and we did not manage to take advantage of the space created by Palace doubling and tripling up on Sane and Sterling.

Shit day at the office for sure. I don’t think we can afford to lose any more games this season.

We didn't improve in the summer and the decision to play a CB in DM was ridiculous.

Ederson and Walker have had awful seasons and Bernardos influence is waning.

We’re nowhere near where we were last season. Debruyne been missed more than we expected.

I agree with that . This all started against Watford and has never stopped. When you win the title you must invest to stay infront and we. Ever apart from a luxury player. If we don’t invest in jan we have problems .

Certainly needs to sort out his going to ground technique but otherwise he's a terrific keeper.

Palace were well organised, took their chances and looked like a team.

We on the other hand were disorganised and were a bunch of individuals who without exception played well below the standards they are capable of.

They need a good shaking up from Pep.
