The axis of stones, Dias and fern is rock solid, they are never caught out of shape and pass the ball well to each other
Pep is a genius, he is on a different footballing intellectual level to most fans and I would say any manager par none (Mourinho is the closest) and whilst many on here were losing their heads he was quietly adjusting his team pattern to suit our lack of striking options. We will never have another coach to match, enjoy it fellow blues whilst it lasts and appreciate it, I know I will.Remember back in October and November there were all those threads declaring how much we suck and how bad Pep has got and how it's time to move him on and how we were past it and how we were on decline and how we wouldn't win anything this season and ho....
I remember
I think how many games Dinho can play is key to us winning league. He’s still levels above every dm in the league. The axis of stones, Dias and fern is rock solid, they are never caught out of shape and pass the ball well to each other
There were a lot of people saying similar. Personally I thought our admittedly mediocre performances at the time were a bit worrying but were as much to do with the unpredictability of what is clearly not a normal season and that when things settled down we’d start to see a big improvement. Of course, I could’ve been well off with that and even though that improvement is now there for all to see I’m urging caution as it could all go pear-shaped again. I do think Pep has been playing the long game this season though and that might just prove to be a masterplan
Two players who many, many posters on here slagged off to the hills game after game when they weren't performing at the top of their game for certain reasons. Like they are with Jesus and Raheem now. We're all entitled to our moans and opinions but the same old twats on here just pick a player or two and vent vile bile at them. They're no true city fans. Well done John and Gundo. ClassThis John Stones revival we're all witnessing... It's just amazing to see. It's still early days but he's becoming a new favourite of mine. I've lambasted him in the past and I'm delighted he's shoving it back in my face. He's got big balls as Pep said.
Also delighted to see Gundo improving still.
This was the funniest/most ridiculous part imo..Lmao imagine wanting Pep gone for NaGelsMAnnMostly that lead to dogs abuse and being called deluded Pep fanboys for not wanting him fired.
Crystal Palace Meth...Been buzzing all day along but before I watch matrix later I want to know which pill did stones take ?
They're not proper fans mate. We would be well rid of them to be honestFor the record there were also a lot of people pointing out we'd had the shortest preseason of any team in the league, went into the first league game down 8 players from covid and injuries, and had no strikers fit at all for most of the league pre-christmas, and if we won our games in hand we'd be right in the mix.
Mostly that lead to dogs abuse and being called deluded Pep fanboys for not wanting him fired.
Hopefully people just learn not to write the team off because of a few drawn games.
