At least we'll have an extra hour to prepare for the next game.
That’s about sums it upJust a bit of a wank performance from us and the officials.
Are you sure you can afford the port and brandy now? When i seen the team today i thought all things considered that was and prob is our strongest 11. Smiled and thought a nailed on win. Rags away at spuds, the school teacher has lost the players and spurs at home will be way to strong another banker.
£300 double, was like printing money.
Drowning my sorrows with port and brandy.
Crikey, what an odd stat, hope we don't play them at 3pm again then. Our last 60 Saturday 3pm kick offs stretching back to January 2015:
51 Wins
7 Draws
2 Losses
BOTH defeats and one of the draws to Palace…
It's not just you he is like a Tug boat but fair play he has done well this season and improved imo.Is it only me that thinks he is too slow?
Agree 100%. Meant that we do not need to sell before we buy.
I've seen a couple of posts in this thread referencing that he needs to lose weight - which is worrying. My seat isn't close enough to determine if he's carrying surplus timber or not but I can tell he can't get away from a tackler or find space when he needs to and always seems to be "stretching" to receive the ball. His lack of mobility is frightening, he’s regressed over the last few weeks when we expected him to be playing himself into fitness. I watched a couple of times when he tried to close a player down and it was painful to see.
Weird, really. Our last 60 Saturday 3pm kick offs stretching back to January 2015:

Like but not like, if you know what I mean.I've seen a couple of posts in this thread referencing that he needs to lose weight - which is worrying. Spurs are shite. Did you see them against The Hammers last week? Or vs Arsenal. When i seen the team today i thought all things considered that was and prob is our strongest 11. Got played today by Zaha, let him walk all over us and do his usual pantomime villain act undeterred. Saw a lot of strong words with him at half time, damage is done by then when the **** has scored and got a player sent off. Should have provoked a red or taken him out of the game in the first ten minutes. His usual kicking and diving self. Laporte woke up with lead in his boots today, but I'm sure he will recover.
I must admit, I felt a large proportion of our fans were nothing short of a disgrace today. The lads gave it a real good go second half, better team and really positive football with 10 men, I was proud of them and they deserved more continual support and applause when walking off the pitch. Very sanitised atmosphere has crept in all around the ground, people act like it's a game of tiddlywinks if you dare join in with the singing or utter a swear word. I know we've been on the end of a few refereeing howlers, but the crowd is a large reason why our home form is shoddy compared to other top drawer teams. The Etihad is too welcoming to visit, large pockets of the crowd are like statues. Should be up at every kick, appealing for every throw, corner etc. Happy clapper club incoming once the old boys start dying off, but suppose that's a sign of the times at all top clubs.
