No he didn't miss the pen, he shown no leadership skills and didn't ensure his striker, who is paid a fortune each week to stick the ball in the net took it. He shirks that responsibility as he does with the captaincy. Yet when Gundog took on instead of Aguero years ago and missed, he went mad. Work that one out.
We haven't played well this season, even when winning. We aren't enjoyable to watch and if we stumble to 5th ultimately yeah we deserve it but equally it has been underwhelming. My initial point with that is I don't want them to hide behind "well we got CL football" as it hasn't been good enough and needs addressing. Big postcard but won't register in your tiny brain.

I wasn't blaming him for our poor attacking play, though we have to tinker it to become more effective. Understandably that can't happen until we finish the season and refresh the squad.
I blamed him for mass changes against Southampton, one of the worst premier league sides in history, which cost us two invaluable points. I blamed him for disrupting a side that had at last found some form, fluidity and got back to winning ways which has just cost us the cup final.
The rest were questions that have to be asked, as unpalatable as they may be. That will be down to Pep, the squad and our owners to discuss and sort out in the summer.

I also had no idea what the potential red card VAR was for and thought it was a City player getting looked into. We probably wouldn't have scored against 10 men as is would have become even harder to walk the ball into the net with all of them defending.

tbh they had 2 shots, both went in the net. Football's not just about scoring goals, it's about scoring more than the others, whether its 1-0 or 5-4, so whilst it might not be entertaining, and with the caveat of ignoring the very blatant red, Palace did deserve to win.

The fact Erling hadn't touched the ball doesn't matter. It was going passed the keeper for him to run onto. How many times have you seen a through ball when the attacking player is stopped by a challenge when clear on goal. It is always a red when there are no covering players. Erling was ahead of their defenders.

Pep deserved to be slagged off, like he deserves all of the praise when it goes well, or is it just one way? I don't think we deserve top 5 no, if we sneak in then so be it but the way we have performed we will count our lucky stars getting there. Fucking spanner

I don't think any coach is beyond criticism. Overall, Pep's record is fantastic. The team has slipped significantly because we kept the team together to win the 4th title back to back when players like KDB should have been replaced long ago. Football is all about cycles. We are between cycles.

Regardless of that, where you finish after 38 games is deserved.
