Crystal Palace PL (H) Post match thread

Todays game was the same situation that has plagued us for awhile now. We create so many chances but hardly ever finish any, whereas the opposition can create 1 or 2 chances a game and score. Something needs to be done about it as we are bleeding points.

Disgusted at three things today…

Walker diving in and leaving the major gap that gets exploited - time and again, he’s playing like an 19yr old Micah Richard’s hoping his pace will recover the situation

Pep not changing his formation when it was clear the game was to be managed - Gvardiol is pushed up as a left winger when Palace were in the ascendency in the final 15 mins

The fans who left on 80mins - utter disgraceful - the game is in its final throws - we are battling to stay in front and the usual mass exodus on 80 mins… if you need to get home early - consider staying at home and letting someone who will stay to the end and help raise the team have your ticket - pathetic and complacent

Bernie, can't pass 5 yards, Foden was better at 19, Jack, no comment, Josko piss poor again, Walker my word, what does he do? walks back for the first, after fluffing his lines again, Jack no comment, maybe in a mo, Eddie is not our best keeper, Ortega would of got the cross and saved the shot for the first, confused, me too, Jack slows us down, crab, crab, yes 3 in 3, so what, we are not getting the best out of him, time may tell if he's good enough, Dias and RIco good, Rodri, beyond reproach, Alvarez burnt out, glad my stream went and got fed up with that woman co commentator, fooking hell.
To be fair, ragcafe isn’t a very happy place either. Come hang out here for a bit.

I love Foden, but that "defending" cost us 2 pts no matter how you see it. We are currently on an absolutely awful streak and I have no issues with the manager calling out any player. Just as they deserve praise when they are playing well, they should be able to handle being criticized when doing mistakes costing the team important points. If someone cant handle being called out when making a huge mistake, they shouldn't play for a team that wants to be the best in the world. I'm sure Phil can handle it, take it the right way and learn from it.
I'm sorry, but on what earth are you and Pep living in that he defends Rodri's red card versus Forest as something that "can happen" but a bad mistake while trying to clear the ball from Phil as something that "cannot happen".

Not to mention him not calling anyone else out all season as far as I know. Despite, you know, the actual defenders being atrocious all season. It's a wildly unfair criticism of Phil no matter what way you cut it and it just furthers my belief that he's treated differently than players who were bought versus coming up through the academy.

What did the officials do wrong? All goals and penalties are VAR checked and I've not heard anyone suggest the penalty decision was incorrect.
I think the pull on Bernie just before the palace penalty was what people mean..I was in SS3 and everyone thought it was a foul and should have been given..which means the penalty wouldn't have happened.
