Ridiculous result. How we spunked away 2 points against that pile of shite, lord knows. Completely dominating then start defending like an under-12 side. Give Ederson a spell on the bench, poor performance from him.
Their 1st goal was poor from us, Dias gives him the room to cross after the Palace player pushes the ball wide, Ake decides to try & play the man instead of the ball & Ederson just stands and watches it all unfold.
Before that, all going well, playing well….

You sure looked like Walker and Dias couldn't deal with a f**king long ball between then.

What did the officials do wrong? All goals and penalties are VAR checked and I've not heard anyone suggest the penalty decision was incorrect.

There was a foul on Bernardo in lead upto penalty, he was tugged on the arm, I’ve seen them given.

In short, we are a million miles away. Oppositions have no fear, and just sit tight as they know their chance will come. The squad is lopsided and I am not convinced they are 100% committed. It's anyone's guess what's occurring with our defensive line up and we have only one genuine full back in Walker (and he's out of form) and a slack handful of centrehalves, who are constantly chopped and changed. Our 3 most exciting players are out injured, and if it wasn't for Rodri and Bernardo we'd be even further adrift. We'll win nothing domestic this year for sure, and are that inconsistent that we may need to win the Champions League to qualify for next year.

That said, nothing lasts forever and this is probably the beginning of the decline so don't get depressed, just remember June past, and smile.
