CSKA Moscow Away Behind Closed Doors?

For those that booked serves you right, for supporting a team that buys the league, glory hunters. We shouldn't even be in Europe. Well not quite but you know it's coming.

That is just a so stupid comment. The glory hunters are not the ones that take all their money in the hand to follow the team but more those that enjoy that they have the chance for matches like that now.

United has enough of those glory hunters... - or bandwaggon fans. But those are not the ones that really follow the team...

Seems like Bayerns f@#ked up with the price. It says on this site that it costs 166, 667 rub per month (smth about £ 3,3 k) to rent a 100-6000 sq m office (1-14th floor) in that building

The price per month... - on year long contracts...

....it is not the price that German or English fans pay if they want to rent for a night... ;)

The thing is that he might have risked something with the CSKA fans if they would have known about it...

Let's face it like this. The first one was an easy thing. Now it could be that marauding hooligans of CSKA are on that building before, during or after the match. There is always some in for a fight... That is why the Bayern fans kept it quiet... They had a bus waiting and police there after the match - I guess the club has taken care of that.

I think this is a good point - we might not have the option to do the same now that it's known about.

Don't feed a troll.

The few people who are allowed in to the ground; apart from the press who exactly are they? Are they corporate sponsors of UEFA? Whoever they are I read somewhere that most of these tickets for the Bayern game were passed on to CSKA fans. Could City not approach them and suggest it might be great PR for their organisation if they passed them on to travelling City fans instead?

Been out all day.

So because their fans are racists it is City who lose out on revenue by them not being allowed to sell to away fans??

Surely this means to make it up we have to sell however many more to cover it?

Gutted for the people who have booked flights

The bandwaggon fans are certainly not the ones who follow their team to Moscow... There is better places to go to... The fans that follow there are the hardcore away fans - yes, fans who have some money else they could not go... The 70 or so Bayern away fans in that building were fans that have been on every away match since 10, 20 or even 25 years. The City fans who might make the same will be of the same category even if they might not have had the chance to do so very much in the past.

The Bayern fans and officials already tried everything to get the Bayern fans in. The U19 was not allowed in. Apart from that UEFA sponsor cards there was about 50 to 75 members of each team (that included players, staff, club officials etc.) allowed in.

And the media.

I know and everyone (including trolls) knows this because it's clearly evident.

But trolls just want attention. Of course it's up to you if you want to respond but my view is, seeing as you write good posts, I wouldn't spend your time on a troll.

Like I say though, it's up to you.

£771 spent on visas flights and accommodation for me and the misses to not see a game. At the moment I an unbelievably pissed off

Feel for you. City should honour that spend towards future EPL away games as a softner. You must feel like you've been burgled!

On a serious note.

Gutted for those who have paid and will now be out of pocket.

I paid for a flight and ticket to Aris a few years back. The week before the match my back went. Slipped disc. Got my ticket money back off the club, but I lost my flight money.

On a lighter note.

Why don't you lot still go, meet up in some forest outside Moscow, take your tops off, put a balaclava on, boxing gloves are optional, bunch up, steam into the CSKA fans. kick the f*** out of them, get the flag back which was hung upside down last season, and see if UEFA will give City 3 extra points, :-)
