CSKA Moscow Away Behind Closed Doors?

Having been and remaining a blue glory hunter of 50 years and having sought glory at Doncaster , Huddersfield York and many other exotic venues whilst seeking survival or promotion I am a little angered having paid to see my life team denied the support of their fans in this insignificant game in Moscow :) . I will be there to meet and greet our team , and hopefully meet up if needs be in a pub to watch the game and cheer on our champions . Anyone interested in joining me or spreading the word ? CTID :) Im
Game for the building opposite the ground if that's viable

On a serious note.

Gutted for those who have paid and will now be out of pocket.

I paid for a flight and ticket to Aris a few years back. The week before the match my back went. Slipped disc. Got my ticket money back off the club, but I lost my flight money.

On a lighter note.

Why don't you lot still go, meet up in some forest outside Moscow, take your tops off, put a balaclava on, boxing gloves are optional, bunch up, steam into the CSKA fans. kick the f*** out of them, get the flag back which was hung upside down last season, and see if UEFA will give City 3 extra points, :-)
I thought they have returned those 2 flags, haven't they?

It's all unfortunately a big bag of shit.

The higher we go the less its about enjoyment.

The way its going I've got 1or 2 years max to go and i started from 1970 .

I'm not effected personally by Moscow and I really feel for you guys but the whole thing is turning to rat shit from UEFA, to agenda to Talkshite to SKY to ITV ultimately it's the world against MCFC. Eventually the cunts win.

FFP????? I hope you can sleep at night.

Feel for the guys that have shelled out a fortune. UEFA should use the money from the fines imposed on CSKA to reimburse those that have lost out on this. I severely doubt that will happen though, unfortunately.

Announcement on OS now. Last paragraph offers hope. Perhaps City will reimburse out of pocket fans. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club%20news/2014/October/CSKA%20Moscow%20UEFA%20Champions%20League%20announcement" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club%20news/ ... nouncement</a>

On the website now:

Manchester City is cognisant of the fact that fans will be affected by this unforeseen turn of events and encourage all supporters who have made non-refundable travel arrangements to email proof of such arrangements to mcfc@mcfc.co.uk, referencing the supporter numbers of all impacted fans, by 5pm on Tuesday 7 October.

On the official club announcement though they have asked fans who have shelled out to get proof to them by 5pm on the 7th October. That to me suggests that people will get reimbursed?

The supporters who have already shelled out money should be fully compensated.

This
UEFA should be made to pay from the extra money they for from fining us. But its probably already in back pockets and given out to other clubs. Would love to see our club do something for the fans who bought flights etc, even though its not the clubs issue or fault.
As they withheld some of our CL money for the fine, perhaps we can re-emberse the fans and get it knocked off the fine

Not clear is it? I suspect flights definitely, visa probably, hotel maybe if non-refundable.

Will be interesting if they only offer a refund on condition you don't go ahead and actually travel - which presumably you could.
