As far as I know the game ban is a blanket ban so no EDS game either, but this has to be confirmed.

Apparently CSKA are lodging an appeal against their sanction, today being the deadline for doing so. Their CEO claims that they're optimistic of having the sanctions overturned.
I'd suggest that, as the saying goes, they have two chances - slim and none, and slim's just left town.

It's now confirmed by UEFA that CSKA have lodged the appeal, according to the Guardian reporter Jamie Jackson on twitter, so the saga goes on. Nothing on UEFA's website yet.
I'm sure petrusha is most likely right about their chances of success but its another thing to take into account for those of us who have trips booked and are deciding whether to travel or not.

I'm going on my own now, my mate has bombed out. If anyone is willing to meet up for the game / sightseeing let me know.
I'm flying in at 1300 Russian time on Monday 20/10 and flying home on 22/10 at about 2100. Would be good to meet with someone otherwise it might be a lonely 3 days!
