Cult Farewell to klipperty

I just can’t understand why they worship him!

He won one PL and ran us close a few times, but they act like he has Pep’s record and had broken records right, left and centre!

His good guy PR schtick is such a shallow sham, as we have seen so many times when things don’t go exactly as he wants and the slant jaw and crazy man face comes out!
 
Extraordinary. I can't remember any other manager leaving a club to this much fanfare, to this much ceremonial pomp. It's like they are inviting ridicule from every corner for some bizarre reason.

Spinal Tap was a piss-taking 'mockumentary' on a rock band years ago, and this feels like it's the same: Messiah for the Morons, God King Klopp, it's just farcical. Like the Anfield Rap or the ludicrous Spice Boys in their Wembley suits.

I'm seriously getting the impression the media are saying 'give 'em enough rope.' Because for all his grandiosity and his ostentatious fist-pumping, his immature melodramatics and his phoney 'I'm keeping it real 'cos I'm one of the boys" schtick, just what has he done in football that justifies it all? What are these 'wonderful achievements' the tabloids go on about? To my mind he under-achieved given the resources he had. Any mid-table Prem manager could have doubled Bingo's trophy haul if he was given the same money and time.
 
It’s fucking ridiculous the amount of shit on Sky, if they do this for Klopp when Pep leaves it should be on a full year!

I wouldn’t say underachieved, when it came to it in the big moments they just weren’t good enough. They’ve come up short against City in 2019 and 2022 when they should have got the bit beteeen their teeth and pressed on. They were in a very good position after the City v Arsenal game this year and crumbled again to be not even in the conversation. They’ve lost in two Champions league finals on top of that, when it comes to the very big moments they can’t do it. They don’t have the winning mentality that City have which is why our boys are pressing on for a historic four league titles in a row off the back of doing a treble last year. Instead there will be a festival of gurning and fist pumping but no trophies on view. Quite pathetic really with how they are so desperate to compare him with the likes of Shankley and Paisley.
