As long as we actually get to the final I wouldn't be too disheartened if we lost but climbed into the top 4. But I could never ever in a billion years take losing to the rags in a semi-final on the chin. If that happens I shall want to go and live far away from any fuck-witted gloating swamp-dwellers - somewhere like Trafford, for example.

A place in the Champs league and an Fa Cup win, will do most top players.

Maybe ask Barry, Given, Lescott, Bellamy and Adebayor the same question. They will all settle for top4 but that 1st trophy will mean the world to them. But not the pinnacle of achievement a start.
