Apparently kushoom koly has been stood there 40 years, no one knows it though. Terrific curry. Bit out of the way in heaton Moor though. But, theres none better in south Manchester, that i've had to date
The Cush is not a bad shout, wouldn't take the kids in much after midnight mind
Kush is not a patch on Heatons Tandoori opposite side of the road few doors down

Cheers for the tip, I'll let you know if you're right ;o)

As we were late getiing to Didsbury tooka punt on the Sangam

After an unpromising start - pops and poor relishes, was very impressed by main courses - the lamb dish I had (hot) was superb and the meat was very good.

Not been for ages myself, but used to swear by the Mughli.

I could've written that. I had some belting curries in Mughli.

Lol!! Kush is ok. Heaton Tandoori is not bad either (bit further down from Kush), had a very nice ruby in there last week.

Use to be the new nook and turnpike

Hammered all the time and def worth a visit.

I know that place , didn't know it was an Indian now. Will let you know how we go on :)
Cheers.

Try and get into The Amanni 2/3 times a month.

Very nice maybe 10% dearer than the average curry house but you pay a bit more for quality.

Try the stir fry if you're into something a bit different. I usually go for the Chicken Tikka Karahi, packs a little punch and goes well with Mushroom Rice and a Chapathi. NB only thing they do badly are the Onion Bhajee's (always over cooked).
