Incredibly touching and we will never forget all of these unfathomably brave women and men.

Heard someone on the radio earlier comparing what these guys went through to the people fighting the climate crisis... One hell of a reach. Can just imagine Just Stop Oil storming Normandy and handcuffing themselves to German gunners

There is a pic on bbc news site of the King talking to a d-day veteran. The vet has three medals, the king has twenty.
