Daily Fail - They will try anyting to bury the club!

Given that Abu Dhabi royals are treated as..well royals by the UK, that the government regards UAE as their one important friend in the gulf.
That the US, the french, the australians and surely some others got military bases in UAE.
That UAE is hailed by the pope for its religious tolerance policy, that there is popular support for an Al-Nahyan led government that give its citizens free education including university grades, guaranteed jobs, no income-tax whatsoever, free healthcare and in many cases free houses and several other benefits the Daily Mail will have to struggle to convince people that City are jointly owned by Khaddafi and Saddam Hussein..lol

Surprised this photo wasn't next to the article

The best bit of the article was the experts saying that it isnt that bad really. I think he wrote the article then decided to look for facts - that's what I used to do when I was at Uni

Great post mate...

Could be worse... we could have owners from one of those countries that like to wage illegal wars in and around the Middle East.

I suppose the hundreds of people who get arrested here during peaceful protests will mean the Daily Mail call for the heads of every club owned by a Brit? No?

this article makes me really angry

Don´t bother..UAE like other countries have its faults, but it´s better than most and much better than its neighbours like Iran, Saudi, Pakistan or such.
Which is why everyone and his mum want a piece of the Abu Dhabi cake..be it countries looking for loans or a poor sod in the Philipines looking for work as house servant.
