Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

Junior has no chance if he does run in the Gold Cup. I would have thought the best way to go would be to run in the National Trial at Haydock to get him fit and then go straight to the National fresh.

Gutted Weapons Amnesty is out again. If he gets fit he will gallop all over Long Run like he did in the RSA. Pandorama is another top quality horse but difficult to train.

Ive backed Synchronised for the Gold Cup. He stays all day and showed last time out that he is up to winning Grade 1 races. 12/1 is too big of a price to turn down seeing as he beat some quality horses easily. Step up in trip will suit aswell.

14/1 looks good Niall

The 1 horse I was going to back was Jessies Dream in the Gold Cup this year. Sadly his work hasnt been good and is looking highly unlikely that he will run at Cheltenham or this year.

The one outsider that I might have a look at is Bostons Angel. Has won at Cheltenham over 3 mile last year and at big odds it is a worthwhile bet for me. Jessie Harrington always has a winner at the festival and has them right come the festival. Form this year hasnt been that good but it seems to do well at Cheltenham.

Bostons Angel wont be running at Cheltenham. Simply hasnt gone on from last years novice form and i doubt it will win another decent race. Looks like Cooldine all over again.

If he was trained by Mullins, Nicholls or Henderson then he'd be a lot shorter. Any horse that wins the Lexus by 8 lengths from Grade 1 winners needs respecting and the fact that he stays further than 3m2f is a big boost.

Got 12s at Betfred and its non runner no bet.

Hard to see past Long Run for the Gold Cup. Friend of a friend has been talking to workers in the Dessie Hughes yard and they say they are expecting Minsk to win the Triumph Hurdle. Might lob a Lucky 15 on tomorrow with him Sprinter Sacre, Long Run and Salsify (whom I got a tip for on Saturday and won @ 11/1 :-)). Just to get me in the Chelty mood.
