Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

Never knew Michael Bell the trainer was a blue, just asked him on twitter and his reply was "citytillidie". He is now my favorite flat trainer officially :-)

Yeah I heard his brother mention it a while back on Talksport, he usually tips up some nice winners of his brother also.

Cheltenham plans havent been decided yet.

He has an entry in the GC but its speculative at this point.

He runs on Saturday at Ascot or Haydock, no decision or preference yet.

See how he comes out of that, but his big target is the National.
mark do you have connections with junior?

Part of his ownership syndicate yes mate.

I just watched last years race,Kauto and denman coming around the last bend together, holding back tears of joy, then the young buck came through to ruin everything.
long run is a lovely horse but ive not been impressed with his jumping this year,i know they will be schooling him over the fences getting him ready but just watching how Ruby settled the old king in the previous two big races makes me think if Long run wont get round Kauto will win, there was nothing much behind him and long run lto....the old king still has one hand on the crown...cant wait.

If you remember last year, Kauto was bang there at the 3m pole and Long Run was a few lengths away. Long Run came through and basically outstayed them.

Similar thing happened in the two races this year, Long Run was plugging on at the end and did his best work in the final furlong. An extra two furlongs and the Cheltenham hill will beat Kauto and suit Long Run.

2/1 at the moment, I think its a great price.

Worth a R/FC on the two though.
National weights are out today any expectation on what junior would need to have to win?

We're expecting something around the 150 mark, which we think is fair.

He has a great chance, he will stay all day and if he gets a clear round he wins.

My only concern, is he takes his fences low and fast.

152, not too bad. I like Arbor supreme at the weights.

theres a writeup in the post today about juniors options,
Mr woods 4.0 Ayr...25/1 last night quickly backed in to 7/1 money on all day for it.
look at its form?...another run down the weights and tune up job?...
