Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

You cant have it always regarding junior mark as you said first time out (hurdle race)he would be odds on,and if he wasnt lump on..

Anyone with a brain knew junior would be a big price that day,i even posted and said he wouldnt be odds on...

That was me having a senior moment, at the time I posted that he had three entries, I studied the wrong one thinking it was the race he was then declared for. I blame that on age.

Jeez, make a mistake on here and it stays with you forever!

In my defence I said he'd win the Kim Muir, and be involved in the finish in the grimthorpe. 2/3 ain't bad :(

I do find it amusing though, I tipped Collateral during his rack of wins, I tipped Captain Dunne in the dash, I tipped a Captain Dunne/Captain Kolo double a year or so ago, I tipped Another Citizen at Ayr last year and literally said nothing will beat him in that race, I tipped Junior in the Kim Muir. I tipped Clockmaker, and I think Leighton now loves that horse. I do get some right, as well as wrong you know. I don't ask for anything, just a bit of understanding if I get a few wrong. I don't think that is unreasonable, personally. You also have to understand, I might be told the horse shoud win this, and then he just gets hammered, it happens.

Rough with the smooth and all that.

Oh ffs Mark - is it possible for you to actually construct a post on here that doesn't mention Junior winning the fucking Kim Muir for once?
Ok - so you tipped a 100/30 winning favourite over a year ago.
What do you want,a knighthood?
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
You didn't even know which day Collateral Damage was running.
Although it's debatable whether or not he actually did run.

For the love of God, have we actually moved on to criticising a typo now?

Junior was 8/1 antepost, three months in advance of the race, when I tipped him. Its a bit low to quote his SP when I tipped him months advance. I should have backed Faasel. Your desperately bitter about that horse. Understandable, since he has a habit of proving you wrong. If he wins the national, which I don't think he will, please send me a photo of your face, it would keep me amused for some considerable time.

FWIW, I was challenged on what I said about Junior and my 'tipping' in general, I responded to that. I dont want anything, but I will defend myself.

It's astounding how deep my presence on this thread and my every comment grates on you. Just let it go ffs.

Im not talking about Junior or Collateral anymore on this thread, everyone is aware of their racing plans for this season. Would be nice if you dropped the shitty comments (which I thought we had put to bed last night, but you were still dropping them this morning). We can all be right and we can all be wrong at times (inc you). The horses will do the talking, either way.

I really don't know which I find the sadder - your complete lack of racing knowledge or your childish stupidity.
If you can't handle somebody making perfectly valid comments about a horse that you own a ten thousandth of,then you shouldn't get involved in racing.
I don't give a fuck if Junior beats a horse I back - it goes with the territory.
I take it on the chin and study the next race, whereas you look to the racing 'bumper book of excuses' when 'your' horse loses.
But then you take every criticism of 'your' horses personally.
If you big up a horse on here and say it will go up 30 points in the ratings, then it runs a dismal 14th,you will get shitty comments, because it was a shitty run.
And every time you get something wrong,it's either a typo or a 'senior moment'.
How old are you,100?
You just can't move on - you're like a racing thread version of Liverpool bleating on about your former glories, and it really is tiresome.
We all know you tipped a winning favourite over a year ago.

Come on pieface sort your maths out lad £1600?
Those prices get you £983.12

I have to say I like Clockmaker. That horse has won a few races at big prices and I was lucky to be on it at the time. Wouldnt be shocked if it wins a couple of races this season as well.

See Jamie Spencer put up his 10 to follow this season in the Star over here. Will put them up in a bit has a small write up on his selections some interesting selections and some no brainers.

Maybe his bookie pays an extra 40% on three timers.
I wish mine did.
