Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

Cappa Bleu and Always Right plus a couple of small bets on old favourites State of Play and Black Apalachi.

A lot of people seem to have Black Apalachi...meaning he's certain to be a faller :P

Small e/w bet on Vic Venturi

How long does it normally take to settle a bet on betfair?

As i backed Tevez first goal do i have to wait 90 mins up to collect?

Any tips for the national?
I asked a jockey on Twitter to give me a horse to win at Cheltenham and he said Syncronised. Last night I asked him to give me a horse for The Grand National and he said Sunnyhill Boy :-)
A nose :-(

Alright lads, back to the sane world of this thread to talk about racing not argue with twats. So with the jumps all but over what's everyone's view on the season? For me sprinter sacre is going to be a star, jumped beautifully at Cheltenham and aintree. What could stop him? Can yo see him stepping up n trip? Sir des champs for gold cup next year? Hunt ball WOW.

I assume you mean the 'ban the one race a year I watch' brigade?
Idiots,the lot of 'em.
The logical progression for Sacre would be to up him in distance as he matures, and the Gold Cup must be his for the taking at some future point, barring injuries.
Sir Des Champs I am still not 100% convinced by,but I may well be proved wrong.
Hunt Ball has progressed in leaps and bounds, and must have found the best part of three stone of improvement, which is incredible.
Whether that can be sustained into next season is up for debate,as I feel he may have found his level at Aintree.
