The Irish Oaks just gone a 20 minute delay as 1 horse had the wrong shoes on crazy. All the other horses in the parade ring. Waiting for the horse to come out. Bracelet won it for O Briens who had winners for Joe , Jamie and Colm on the card and 2 of his 2 year old winning. Don't think next season there is much of these that will do much at 3 year old going on 2 year old form so far.

How embarrassing for that horse not to be correctly dressed at such an event!! :)

It was and it nearly went on to win the race too.

I reckon she'll be a shortish price at York mate if Hannon enters her in the Nunthorpe, although she would be taking on more experienced horses, but the way she finished suggests the Lowther over 6 furlongs may be an option.
She's certainly a great prospect for the future.
Yeah, AP just keeps on rollin' - if he stays healthy it's hard to see him not getting the magic 5,000, and I doubt that will ever be beaten.
He's just a one-off, and we're privileged to see him in our lifetime.

Richard Hannon (jnr) was on The Morning Line and was bullish enough about it's chances. There was bit of 5/1 knocking about around 8.30 when the prices reverted.

I clocked the Hannon interview too, but when the money went down, I thought 5/2 ish was poor value in a 21 runner stampede.
Then we saw just why it was so short.

Our pal Kool Kompany is in France today.

Maisons Laffitte. 1.30
See John Gosden's got Western Hymn in the 2.40 at le same meeting. :)

( don't forget the 2 Jacks today )

both won TTT, good spot even though i wasn't on!!

Apart from the Ascot run Kool Kompany looks a good horse. Hughes this weekend in Tiggy Wiggy and Kool Kompany has 2 great horses to look forward to next season.
The power seems to be shifting and Hughes seems to have the best horses to go to war with I think Hughes champion jockey this season isn't out of the question think Moore and Hughes are both up there heads and shoulders above the rest riding on the flat this season.
