Yep, I've read before that the FT is probably the most balanced news reporting but it is relatively expensive and lacks sports and entertainment sections (which are important especially if you like a good quiz).

I think it has declined into left leaning populism with simplistic bigoted viewpoints. i.e poor people = good, rich people = bad, which then leads into islam = good, black/brown = good, white = bad, jews = bad. It seems to judge people on their group attachments rather than treating everyone as an individual. One of my friends calls it 'preachy' and I do think it has an arrogant superiority (similar to the Mail) about it. And yes, it also has the spiteful Ronay and Liew spewing their condescending bollocks about City!

I’m similar but also refer to their ‘Papers’, where you can see the front pages for the next day. This tells me how they are trying to frame certain subjects.

Take the Mail headline for today, ‘Le Humiliation!’. Without even reading it, my take would be that they forget the previous government(s) austerity measures and paint it as the current government failing in the defence of the realm. Aided and abetted by various quotes from the right wing parties, slamming the government for the shit show that they actually created.

Oh, and which the Mail supported and promoted during 14 years of cuts.

Funny enough when ever I hear the tory party moaning about things I always turn to the missus and say " they had 14 fucking years to sort it, couldn't, then expect labour to solve it in 12 months"

It’s also where their current thinking is, like their full support to Trump, only to backtrack when they realise the country isn’t with them.

This is the problem with these type of politicians, they have no ideas of their own. We now have the Tory and Reform parties stating that we have a broken Defence, yet both of these parties are filled with the people that brought us to this point.

Personally, I prefer a decent opposition but cannot listen to either of the above named parties, or media influencers, due to their immaturity in role.

I think Times Radio is pretty good. Generally unbiased though it does have some obviously tribal presenters. The best of a bad bunch though.

Get with the narrative, Starmer and the Labour government are to blame for everything . Heard the Tory transport shadow minister pontificating this morning about pot holes , bus lanes , 20mph speed limits etc etc , apparently these problems have only been around for the last eighteen months.

It’s a bit suss these missing/murdered US government/research employees ….. but I don’t think they would target Mr G. Neville.lol. Not sure how I feel about that! And these I’m sure fine gentleman probably won’t film them selves doing it……. If they ever did!
