Overlord and Silver came a bit later than the others, and you can hear that, but the early beginnings of Brit Hip Hop were the best, in my opinion.

overlord x - 14days in may...i have that white label...it was a true story of a lad on death row and it was released to try and force an appeal by his mates...they had 14 days before he was executed

Yeah, I remember the docu, the song was based on. It came out not long after, actually, as it was a direct influence.
