Odd thought... but maybe Pep will think about using Alves as his "regista" like he did with Lahm at Bayern, now that Alves is getting on. He has the ball control and technique to play that role, and he's an intelligent footballer too.

I think this too. I see Alves playing a more inverted role. The way Pep used Lahm. Walker i suspect will be a more conventional FB.
